Our leadership team

I have taught in primary schools for many years and have a genuine passion towards making a difference and allowing each child to reach their potential in all subjects.

I qualified as a teacher at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2013. During this time, I specialised in Drama and English and was even fortunate enough to spend a semester in Australia and gain some experience in a primary school in Melbourne.

Since beginning my teaching career, I spent 8 years teaching at schools in Inner City Leeds, until taking onboard the role of Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo at Starbeck Primary Academy, in September 2023.  I am proud to work at such a happy, inclusive school, where the children are at the heart of everything we do, and I look forward to continuing my role over the coming years.
