Our leadership team

I am an experienced, passionate teacher who has had a long career at Starbeck Primary Academy. I have taught throughout the Primary age range during my teaching career, including Nursery and Reception. I qualified as a teacher with a Batchelor of Education Honours Degree in Art and Design and as part of my training specialised in Early Years/KS1.

I have been responsible for a range of subjects, including Mathematics as well as being a member of our school SLT for numerous years.

I have a real passion for art and maths of which I have successfully developed throughout our school as part of my leadership role.

I have loved teaching at Starbeck Primary and continue to strive for the best possible outcomes for our pupils in my current role as Assistant Head teacher (Quality of Education)
